
Well, after flying this plane some laps, I made the picture on this site a lot smaller... It flew like crap! It did some very strange behavour in the turns, and it could not fly very fast. Even if I put it in a steep dive it would'nt go very fast.
The reason for the horrible performanse is the fact that it is made of 3mm foam flat plate and only two thin carbon pins to stiffen the wings. The wing changed it's shape during flight (highly visible!), and this is of course bad.
This material (depron) is only suited for slowflyer models.

OK, done with fooling around with the Depron-crap. I've started making a fast delta wing (own construction as usual). It will have a OS15 in the back as a pusher. The body is constructed as a symmetrical wing. The wings will have only 4% thickness so that the model will be really fast.
However, I spent four minutes cutting out a small scale model to find the CG point, and to verify that the construction could fly.
